Intent In Religious Education (RE), pupils enter into a rich discourse about the religious traditions that have shaped Great Britain and the world. RE enables pupils to take their place within a diverse multi-religious and multi-secular society. It is intellectually challenging and personally enriching. It affords pupils the opportunity to see the religion, and non-religion, in the world, and the opportunity to make sense of their own place in the world.

Impact
Pupils develop an increasing knowledge and understanding of a broad range of Christian and non-Christian religious beliefs as they move through school. They can identify and describe key characters, stories and concepts using theological language appropriately. They can discuss the beliefs and practices of others with respect and insight, and will express their own ideas in connection to the themes being studied.
